The RCP London Iraq Network was honored to have Dr. Huzaifa Adamali, Consultant Respiratory Physician, Spire Bristol Hospital. He visited our beloved country and gave a motivating lecture to over 500 medical students in Baghdad College, University of Medicine about ”The legacy of learning” on the 4th of January 2022. Dr. Adamali also led an interactive discussion with esteemed consultants and doctors in Rheumatology, Pulmonology and Radiology about ”Progressive fibrosing Interstitial lung disease: New landscape” on the 5th of January 2022 in the Medical City Complex. The session was fruitful with a lot of discussions about lung fibrosis patients in Iraq and the proper way of managing complex cases. Lung fibrosis is underestimated in our country and the upcoming work will be focusing toward obtaining a joint clinic for this disease.
